Our district is excited to share that we are exploring a pilot of GoGuardian, a classroom management and student safety platform designed to support both teachers and students in today’s digital learning environment.

As instructional technology continues to evolve, tools like GoGuardian can help teachers more effectively guide student learning during device use. The platform provides features such as real-time screen monitoring, the ability to keep students focused on assigned tasks, and tools to support safe and responsible internet use.

This pilot is not about “watching students”—it’s about empowering teachers with better visibility and control in a digital classroom, much like walking around the room during independent work time. It also allows for quicker intervention when students need redirection or support.

During the pilot phase, a select group of teachers will have the opportunity to test GoGuardian in their classrooms and provide feedback. Their experiences will help us determine how this tool fits into our district’s instructional goals and digital learning strategies.

We’ll continue to keep staff informed as the pilot progresses and will provide opportunities for input along the way. If you have questions or are interested in learning more, please reach out to the technology department.

Together, we’re working to create focused, safe, and engaging digital learning environments for all students.
