ANAHUAC, TX — In a continued effort to prioritize student safety and modernize district infrastructure, the Anahuac ISD School Board has officially approved a comprehensive replacement of the current public address (PA) systems.
The upgrade will roll out across three major campuses:
Anahuac High School
Anahuac Middle School
Anahuac Elementary School
Modern Technology for a Safer Campus
The district is transitioning to a cutting-edge Wahsega PA system. Moving away from legacy hardware, this advanced IP-based system ensures crystal-clear daily announcements, seamless bell schedules, and dependable communication across all classrooms and common areas.
Direct Integration with Raptor Alerts
The definitive highlight of this upgrade is its direct integration with Raptor Alert. In the event of an emergency, the Wahsega system will automatically sync with Raptor’s safety protocols. This enables instantaneous, automated broadcast notifications, visual cues, and school-wide alerts within seconds of an incident being flagged—giving administrators, teachers, and emergency responders critical tools to protect the campus effectively.
"This system upgrade represents a massive leap forward in how we handle both daily operations and campus security. By linking our PA audio directly with Raptor Alerts, we ensure that vital information reaches everyone instantly, leaving no room for delay when seconds matter most."
Installation and configuration are slated to begin soon to ensure minimal disruption to academic scheduling.
